Electronic overvoltage protection/welding protection
These devices were developed to protect electronic components in motor vehicles. High voltages occurring during jump starting, welding work or when charging the battery are absorbed. This means that electronic components in the vehicle can be protected without having to disconnect the battery.
The devices are connected to the battery's (+) or (-) terminal using the battery clamps before any high voltages occur. When the LED display lights up, the protection is activated. Suitable for 12 and 24 V vehicle voltage.
